Can bitcoin be transferred on paper? I've heard of paper wallets, but it sounds like that's mainly a way to keep one's entire wallet secure. Is there a way, for example, to print QR codes that will allow someone to receive a set amount of BTC from your wallet?

Like, if I want to pay with bitcoin at a store but they don't have a way to receive it digitally, could I just have like a little receipt printer connected to a hardware wallet that could print a code to transfer the necessary amount?

What's the best way to securely generate a random list of words? - like you see with Bitcoin wallets

I would like to generate a "recovery seed", like you see with Bitcoin wallets. Example:
fish chair cat walking attack under sky danger canyon ...
I'm going to use this list of words as a seed to encrypt data with libsodium's key derivation.
This is how I think it will work:
I'm just worried about something being wrong with my method causing it to be insecure.
The only thing I could think of is the problem of using a predictable random number generator. For that reason, I would use libsodium's randombytes_uniform function.

How do I buy Bitcoin?

Step 1: Find a good Bitcoin wallet
(example: Coinbase, Exodus, or Mycelium)
Important: Although an online wallet is fine for your first Bitcoin purchase, if you find yourself with a lot of valuable cryptocurrency because of trading or an upswing in value, make sure to store it in an offline “cold storage” wallet for maximum protection.
Step 2: Choose the right Bitcoin trader
(example: Coinbase or CEX)
Step 3: Select your payment method
(Credit Card or Bank Transfer)
Step 4: Buy some Bitcoin and store them in your wallet
Step 5: Get ready to use it
Important: Trade wisely.

This relies on a flaw in the current iteration of the bulletproof protocol.
